Every now and again you come across a really good single. Maybe it is a remix, you throw it on a playlist and proceed to forget about it as time goes on. You probably forgot the name of the band, maybe even what the song sounded like. It takes something, like hearing another similar track from the same band to snap you back into remembering why you fell in love with the song in the first place. The Love That Remains feels like the newly discovered old song, it's totally enjoyable but also hits you deep in the memory. Savoir Adore are making a big statement with this record. They are really putting themselves on the line and producing some really anthemic Indie Rock. There are whiffs of M83 and MGMT throughout, but Savoir Adore feel much brighter than those two focused on the sparkle of dust rather than the grit of night. A first listen gains an appreciation for how great of pop songs these eleven tracks are but as you dive a bit deeper you see there is a great deal more to these tracks than catchiness. The layers of synth glow track after track built to encapsulate breathy vocals from both the male and female singers who when they sing together sound amazing. The music sits firmly in the Electropop genre never really straying from the overall vibe that Savoir Adore setup from the very beginning of the record.

Two of the absolute best songs on the record happen to be "Savages" and "Devotion". These two tracks are Savoir Adore at their absolute best begging for the listener to sing along with them as they let these tracks unfold. "Devotion" is a bit harder to get in to at first because it starts with a very 80s inspired opening, but that becomes only a distant memory as the track builds and builds. There is a bit of a slow down in the final third of the record, but to keep the pace that they set up for themselves at the beginning of the record. "Heaven" is a perfectly nice sounding track, but because you have been setup with all this bombastic music it does let you down. The title track pulls the record back around and is another call to action type of song. With all this positive energy and big bold music you would think that Savoir Adore would come across as contrived in some way, but it all is very organic and pleasing. In all honesty Savoir Adore should have broken through before now, so hopefully this album finally cements their place in the music world.
