If you're like me you get a little twinge of excitement every time you see something new from Tyga coming out. Not because i know I'll love it, but to really see just how bad He is. Each album, each mixtape Tyga has proved time and time again to be one of the worst rappers out there. The first full track "Feel Me" released back in January and featuring Kanye West has not gotten better over the past six months and sets the tone for an album that had to cost a fucking ton, but delivers on little. Bitch I'm the Shit 2 is the follow up to his mixtape from 2011, and last time I checked the public wasn't clamoring for the follow up. This album comes after a highly public and highly controversial relationship with Kylie Jenner for Tyga, so I guess maybe this is a breakup record? However the topics only range from how great Tyga is to how shitty you are, and occasionally he calls a woman a bitch. On "Teterboro Flow" Tyga does this half "skrrt" half "brrrt" money/uzi sound throughout and it is fucking terrible, I mean real deal bad. "Ski on the Slope" a song about cocaine and featuring Pusha T, is basically about models who like coke. As fascinating artistically that territory sounds even Pusha T moves to the background not really sticking his neck out for the track. The same can be said of all of Tyga's features, He may have paid a lot for them but it doesn't mean they bring anything near their best and He certainly is not going to be able to draw it out of them.

Cocaine also makes an appearance on "Eyes Closed" just to show you some of the depth associated with Tyga's writing ability. You can't particularly hate on the beats here as some of them sound pretty fresh, Tyga just has zero ability to capitalize. It's like your eyes are in a constant state of rolling when listening to Tyga, because you know He is not this guy and behind all the bluster is a grown man who dated a fucking teen, for quite a bit of time. It is almost like the idea of the rapper, fashionista, and celebrity has penetrated Tyga's soul so deep that any semblance of self-awareness has vanished. In interviews He has said this album was "for the fans" but it really shows He has disdain for his fans more than anything. "You on you're way girl?/We can go all the way girl" is a real Tyga line from "Bel Air" and he says it a bunch throughout the song, I mean how much worse can it get? Vince Staples is of course the one bright spot featuring on "Playboy" which bends more to his dark style. If this is a breakup album the takeaways can be Tyga is still rich, does a lot of drugs and has sex with a lot of women; pretty deep revelations huh? If you want an example of style over substance look no further than Tyga, and this absolute trash of a record. It's not just a bad album, its offensive.
