G-Eazy is a scary guy. Can you tell from his new album cover, or maybe from his badass lyrics? This is a tortured guy who has something important to say. If you haven't picked up on the sarcasm to this point let me put you out of your misery. G-Eazy is absolutely terrible. His out of breath delivery is played and lifted, his dangerous man in black routine could not be more see through and his musical choices seem to be only influenced by what is popular at that moment. The tall, dark and handsome raper seems to be corporately designed to appeal to young white girls who like rap but are scared to fully buy in. He knows this, yet still portrays himself as this big bad dude who's been through a lot. He likes to reference rappers like 2pac, Biggie and the some of the all time greats yet somehow thinks his name belongs in the same sentence. It's absolutely infuriating compounded by the fact that people continue to work with him. The Game, French Montana and Miguel are seemingly part of his new crew, working and recording together. Save for Miguel i don't think you could fins a more forgettable group of artists to spend your time with. "Big Ben" which references some beef with another midwest idiot Yellawolf is another chance for G-Eazy to flex his wealth and how many fashion shows He's been to recently. His lyrics and music just feel so exhausting. How many girls can you have sex with? How much money can you talk about? Is there a single other thing rolling around in his fucking head? I don't think so.

What makes this all the more annoying is how hard his label pushes him. He's paired up with hot girls of the moment for "relationships". He's spotted out at the hottest places, not to perform, just to be seen. I mean if you think Kanye West of the early 2010s mentioned clothing brands a lot G-Eazy takes it to a whole other level. It's so damn contrived are so forced that the only people that can possibly like this music are people that don't like rap. I don't know what else to say, this album is bad, G-Eazy is bad, please find something, hell anything, else to listen to today.
