Alvin Risk is an electronic musician and his latest releasae is this EP Venture. The album makes use of great tones and abrupt stops, making for a really crisp sound to the music. There is also an undertone of darkness, almost like you a walking through some dystopian future bleak and dank but you still need to fucking dance. The music really reminds me of Robert DeLong, but is far less bright and with a much larger scale. Alvin Risk seems to keep one toe in the big bold EDM scene but another in the artsy electronic one as well.

From what I've heard so far I am a fan of Alvin Risk and there are some other stellar remixes that he has available. Definitely worth a listen to if you are a fan of electronic music and looking for something on the darker side.
