Josef Salvat is going to be a beast on the indie music scene if this EP is any picture of what's to come. His music tastes at such a young age (24) are something to be admired. His music is epic while understated, complicated yet simple and above all else a great listen. "Open Season" is perfect for a party or walking through the city. 

The one weak point of the four track EP for me is his cover of Lorde's "Diamonds". He turns the super hit into a slow piano song, which to be honest really takes away from the song and the rest of the album. It sticks out like a sore thumb and on this small of an EP I don't see the use for it when the other tracks are so strong.

I really liked this EP and think great things are coming down the pipeline for Josef Salvat
