This is ODEZSA’s second album and blends ethereal tones with catchy upbeat Electronic music. The album seems to glide through each song really creating a cohesive structure, though each track is wholly creative and different. It’s not often electronic music can feel this natural, but “In Return” is completely organic and when I say that I almost mean earthly. Adding to this is the great drum and bass lines, they are classic in feel yet totally new when paired with the rest of the music.

The single from the album is “Say My Name” and while clearly a hit the rest of the album is just great. I was really impressed with “All We Need”, it gives off an R&B vibe (mostly due to the Shy Girls vocals) but the blend is so seamless it is really impressive. ODESZA in theory should by just background noise, but their take on the music is so interesting is challenges you not to get in to it.

“In Return” is a really great album and even more impressive given that its not just another sophomore slump. Get it, listen to it and dig it.
