“Cast Away” is the first studio album from the Australian Band Strange Talk. They have a blend of Electropop, New Wave and Indie music that is in a word…odd. Unfortunately this album is and very much feels like a first go round. They have thrown every style of music they can think of into it and hope that something sticks. It is super repetitive and not in any good way.

The thing I get most from this record is the potential. This group clearly is not there yet, but as they age and get more refined there is a chance. For now though Cast Away is a pass.
